• Faith community leaders formed the ministry in 1973 to address pressing human
  needs and social injustices, particularly those in Education.
• In the 70’s and 80’s, the Ministry focused on racial justice and quality public education for low-income families.
• During the 90’s, focus was shifted to helping homeless families and individuals.
